A project by Vratislav Pecka
The PosterLad project started out as a getaway of a busy designer wanting to start something of his own. Designing a new poster almost every day, always a unique one and with an obsessive attention to detail, it became popular on social media. Always pushing the imagination to its limits, both me and the project itself are constantly evolving.
I find an endless source of inspiration in everything a bit old, dated. Old VHS cases, 90s graphics, clothes or even music from that era. There is a certain influence of Bauhaus in the PosterLad project as well for sure.
All posters are made mainly in Adobe Indesign. Nevertheless, I sometimes use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop too.
I like the quote from Rushmore explaining what is the key to happiness – "Find something you love and do it for the rest of your life" – I think I found that with making these posters!
I hope you enjoy my posters!
